My life is progressively becoming more and more wrapped around having a baby. We have slowly put together her room (still not done), bought and have been given baby clothes, purchased a stroller, and we're still in the market for a few more things! Man babies can be expensive..good thing they're cute right? Well I've got some pictures that I've taken posted below; the first 3 are from my baby shower that Randi threw me at my parents house a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun! It was good to see some old friends. If you're wondering what we're doing in th pictures, we are smelling diapers with melted candy bars in them trying to figure out what kind it is.

Sarah, baby Jill, and Carter. Definitely a baby shower when you have 2 babies and 2 toddlers there (Randi's little girl Paige came along too. Her and Carter became good buddies :)
|
Casey, Grandma, and McKenna. Others came too, but these were the only photographs that got snapped the whole time!
Next is the crib again, but now the room is painted and the bedding is in it! :)

I love the colors
I changed my mind I don't know how many times on whether I should get a neutral stroller/car seat or a pink one. After much indecisiveness (is that a word?) Adam made the decision for me and we got the cute pink one. I love it! It just came in the mail yesterday.

33 weeks along
Now onto something exciting that doesn't have to do with the baby.....Adam got a new job! Starting in a week and a half when school gets done for the semester he'll be selling cars at the Ken Garff Nissan dealership here in Ogden. He hates working a JcPenney right now for many reasons so I've been helping him look for another job that would pay better and be more dependable. A few weeks ago I saw this job come up online. I didn't think he'd be interested in selling cars, but because of his APX security experience he thought he would be good at it. He filled out an application and called in several times to set up an interview with someone, but the guy he needed to talk to was always busy. Finally on Tuesday he got the chance to go talk to someone. They had been interviewing a lot of people in the past few weeks, but hadn't hired anyone. The sales manager and the general manager both interviewed him and loved him and offered him a job in the same day!! He'll go full time for summer and once school starts they will work with his school schedule which is awesome because another dealership wouldn't even interview him because he was in school and couldn't be permanent full time. He's VERY excited...he got to tell Pennies he was leaving yesterday. They're sad to see him go, but it's their own dang fault!
As for me, I still work at Old Navy a few days a week. I really like it because of the people I work with. I'll be sad to quit once the baby comes along, but the past few weeks I've started nannying a 17 month old little girl 4 days a week. I'll be able to bring the baby with me when she gets here and they're okay with me taking time off. So far it's been working out pretty well. I have to be there at 7:45 in the morning which is hard getting used to because I LOVE sleeping :) But it's good for me to get up in the morning..there is so much more time in the day I haven't known about for awhile!
Anyways, we are both very thankful for the new jobs we've gotten so we can support ourselves after this baby gets here. The lord is definitely blessing us!
