Oh Me, Oh My

That's how I feel about this past week. The day after we got back from Easter in Idaho Lydia came down with a cold and then started throwing up anything she ate. That night she screamed bloody murder until about 4 in the morning. We tried everything to settle her down, but she was miserable. The next day we got a call from our manager and our neighbors upstairs called because they got woken up a few times and they thought we were neglecting our child. We took her to the doctor and it turned out she had an ear infection which was triggering the throwing up. So the poor girl had to get a shot of antibiotics and blood taken for some tests. Instead of the happy little girl she is usually is she turned back into this.....

Her little newborn self. Still cute but REALLY REALLY grouchy all the time. I don't think I can count the number of times I've been thrown up on this week...yuck. One of those times was in the middle of church. I went to the mother's room to go feed her (there were 3 other women in there also) and halfway through eating she threw up like a gallon all over me. I felt really embarrassed. We had to take her home and I had to get cleaned up because I had to teach primary the last hour..fun huh? Luckily she is doing a lot better now and she is almost back to her normal self.


So anyways, that is what has been keeping me busy this week and why I haven't posted about Easter weekend sooner.

Devin and Andrea brought their new puppy Harley up for the holiday. Carter wears him out...
