4th of July

We had quite an eventful 4th of July this year. Adam took a little vacation time so we were able to go stay in Driggs with my family for the weekend. They were having a big celebration up there for the holiday so we wanted to see how it measured up to Idaho Falls. Driggs had a spectacular fireworks show. We all thought it was just as good as Idaho Falls. The only difference was the show was a little shorter. The perk was we had front row seats on the balcony of the condo!

View from the balcony. The fireworks shot off just to the right.
During the day they had lots of different activities. There was pig racing, dog jumping, a hypnotist, a car show, an air show, and a few other things.
Here's a few pictures from the air show and car show.

It looks like a toy plane, but it's really a Turbo Shark from WWII

I would have been scared out of my mind to be in that plane.
Don't ask me the names of any of these cars because I don't know.
I just think they're pretty.

She loves grandma!

Notice she's keeping on the hat!?
Also that weekend we drove to Teton National Park to visit Jenny's Lake

We went on a little nature hike along the lake

She had the best seat on the hike.
This was quite the overload of pictures!  OH and one last cool thing that happened was on Sunday we went to a ward in Driggs ( we just picked the one that started at 11:00) and Elder M. Russell Ballard was there...COOL RIGHT?! We had no idea he was going to be in that ward. He spoke the last 10 minutes of testimony meeting.
Anyways, it was really nice to get out of Utah for the weekend. We had a lot of fun!

On a little side note my Aunt Ellen died Tuesday night after fighting cancer for 2 years. I wish we could fly to Texas for the funeral. My family is thinking and praying for everyone!
