Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we made the 5 hour drive up to Emmett this year! We left Wednesday afternoon and came back Friday afternoon so it was definitely a quick trip, but as usual we had a lot of fun. I was pretty terrible at getting pictures....Lydia's other 2 cousins (same age) weren't all 3 together the whole time :(. I did get a few good ones of Lydia though.

This little girl definitely brought her appetite with us. She literally ate and ate and ATE the whole time we were there. After I would get done feeding her she would wander from person to person saying "up pease" so that she could get a taste of what they were having. She made herself right at home...

She loves olives and loved having them on her fingers even more. In the right photo she stuffed the last 3 or 4 in her mouth at once...

still eating.

When she wasn't eating, she was buddies with Uncle Lucas.

Also while I was there I took some senior pictures for Rulon. I don't have them all done yet, but here is one of them. When I get the rest done I'll post them on my photo blog.
But can I just brag about this kid for a minute? He got a 31 (32? sorry) on his ACT and has applied to Stanford. We're all rooting for him! I think he'll know in December whether he got in or not. Keep it up Rulon...we're proud of you down here in Ogden :)

And then I did some pictures a few weeks ago in Idaho Falls for this cute family. The rest is posted on my photo blog here :)

OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT! Lydia turned 18 months old on Sunday so she got to go to nursery!!!! We have been anticipating this day for quite a while now....she is getting to be a handful and a wiggle worm at church.

(I apologize for the blurriness. Taking clear photos indoors is a challenge for me still....)
She was perfectly fine with us leaving, but about halfway through Adam and I could hear someone crying in the hallway and we recognized that it was her. Apparently during singing time she fell backwards off her chair and bonked her head. Poor girl wouldn't calm down for like 15 minutes. She's usually a tough cookie, so I knew she actually was hurt. Luckily, it was snack time when we went back in and that made her happy. I tried to leave, but she burst into tears again so I stayed the rest of the time.  If she wouldn't have gotten hurt I'm pretty sure she would have been just fine the entire time. She is such a big girl now! I don't know where the time has gone. I'm starting to get a TAD baby hungry somedays, but don't get your hopes up folks, Lydia is all we can handle at the moment :)
