Rainy Day

We had a great weekend! I got to go shopping at the new City Creek Center in downtown SLC with my old bestie, Casey! We went in the morning and by the time we left it was VERY crowded. I'm sure it will be like that most the summer.
We noticed a really long line outside the stores and came to find that it was just to GET INTO the new Disney store. I asked one of the store associates outside why there was such a long line. Was there a Disney princess inside or something?
She quickly answered, "Nope, it's just awesome."
Hmm okay (btw, I felt bad because I couldn't tell if she as a boy or a girl. The only way I knew for sure was because her name tag said Mary)
The perfect weekend had to end sometime. I did enjoy hearing the thunder this morning while I laid in bed wih Miss Lydie (who woke up WAY too early btw.) We are all a little sniffly between colds and allergies around here.

Here's what's on the agenda for today:
1. Bake bread (already in the process)
2. Finish going through all the lamb farm photos so I can finally post them
3. Clean :S
4. Get together my meal plan for the week (best thing I ever did people!)

I like trying to get all my inside duties done while the weather is so yucky, so when it's nice we can spend the day playing outside! Lydia has LOVED playing in the backyard the past few days. I want to find her a fun outside toy (water table, sand table, etc.) to let her play with since a park isn't really in walking distance. Anyone know of anything that's inexpensive and fun?

One of my favorite things about rainy/gloomy days is the soft lighting that comes in through the windows. Best scenario for inside pictures!!!! I'm hoping all this rain will bring green grass and blooming flowers for Easter in 2 weeks :)
