I only had a few days after I got home where I had help so I got thrown into the deep end pretty quickly. I still remember the day after family left when we had Lydia and Adam and I looked at each other wondering what the heck we were supposed to do with her. Basically the same thing happened this time with me, but now I just didn't know what I was supposed to do with 2 kids. Thankfully, Claire was basically in her newborn 'sleep coma' for a week or two after coming home because she was 2 1/2 weeks early and Lydia is fairly independent and not as 'needy' as some can be. I'm slowly figuring things out and I'm trying my best to document her growth so I can look back and cry like I do with Lydia's photos and videos.
She was only a few days old in these photos and finally awake!
