Lydie B.

The majority of my posts lately have been about Claire so this one is just for our Lydie B! She will be 4 in only two months and I just can't stand how big she is getting. She is too smart for her own good and tends to be a little sassy, but we just love her! She has been going to preschool this year and she is doing so well. I was on the fence about putting her in this year and I'm so glad I did. They have started her on a reading program and she is picking things up very quickly. We moved from our North Ogden townhouse a month ago to a house in South Ogden so I've been driving her to and from preschool 3 times a week and one way is a good 20 minutes. She is done the middle of May so we decided to just keep her there for the remainder of the year. I did find a little preschool from a girl in our new ward for her to be in next year and I'm so relieved I found something! I was a little worried about finding one for her so close to registration. Preschools are a lot more competitive to get into then I thought!
Anyways, some of her favorite things lately are Frozen (I don't know what little kid ISN'T obsessed with that movie), princesses, and birthdays. She is very excited for her birthday and has known since last summer that she wants a princess cake. She lets me know that just about everyday! Another things she has taken interest in lately is the piano. She can play most of I am a Child of God and learned most of it by herself by ear. Piano lessons are definitely in the near future.

After Claire was born Lydia had a little too much tv and iPad time to my liking so I've been trying to find crafts and other activities that are simple for her (and me) to do instead. Pinterest is definitely a life-saver in that department. This little project we did on St. Patrick's Day.

She did a little more eating than sticking :)

Adam's birthday was the next day so she made it for him to surprise him. She insisted to write Adam instead of Daddy.

Adam celebrated his 28th birthday on the 18th and so on his day off that week we took him to his yearly Tucanos birthday dinner and did a little shopping at The Gateway while we were there. He is working very hard at work and we are proud of him and take advantage of anytime we get to spend with him!
