In May that had a big graduation for all the little people! She won the Jr Valedictorian award!
Lydia's 4th birthday was the week after and she had a total of 3 birthday parties! I was ready to be done partying by the 3rd one. She's a special little girl and she enjoyed every bit of it! The first one was a few days before son a Sunday because Adam and I had to talk in church so we had family come over to the house anyways.
Since last summer she has told me she wanted a Princess cake and I had it set in my mind that I would just buy because I am NOT a cake decorator. Well, about a week before I still hadn't ordered a cake so I just decided to do it myself. She requested a strawberry one so I used one my sister, Natalie, had on her website. It was DELICIOUS and Lydia loved it!
That morning before church she knew we were going to be having a birthday party with her cake so she requested that she leaves and then comes back so we can yell "surprise!". One of her favorite things to do is to have pretend birthday parties so having a real one was a dream come true for her.
She got spoiled in the present department as usual :). One thing she got was a new princess bike from my parents. She loves it, but even today we are STILL working on learning to use the brakes. The concept just seems to be hard for her to grasp!
Thank you for everyone that came! She just loves her family and get so excited she gets to see everyone!
One last thing is a little random tid bit... I took a picture of Claire around this time and it was very similar to one I took of Lydia so I had to compare :)
You can definitely tell they are sisters! (Left Claire, Right Lydia)
Birthdays #2 and #3 coming up!

Where did she do preschool? Is she going again this year? Yeah brakes are tricky. First summer Bailee learned to use her bike we were walking back from Walmart and it's kinda a hill by pineview rehab she crashed and got a black eye :( so sad and that's when we really pushed that she needed to learn how to use her brakes.
