Birthdays

It's a little belated, but I haven't had a computer! It was Adam's 23rd birthday on Wednesday and we and we had decided to go to Emmett, ID to stay with his family for a few days. As always it's definitely a different atmosphere than what I'm used to! Still living at home Adam has 4 younger brothers (17, 14, 9, and 2) so it's anything but dull! Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

The weather was beautiful while we were there. We went to the Boise Mall while we were there... we always have to make a pit stop there..you know me :)

One of his birthday presents he asked me to get him was a huge bag of peanut M&M's. We figured that this whole bag has about 4,000 calories..yummy :)

He also got a GPS from my parents. It will be extremely nice when we go back east to DC!



A lot of family came over for dinner and then cake and ice cream. He had 2 birthday cakes because of all the people there. Of course they were both chocolate..then one had raspberries and the other had cherries.

Other things he got for his birthday from me was a tool kit ( every man needs his own set of tools) and this work out bar thing that you put in the door way and you can do pull ups, push ups, or sit ups with. He thinks I got it for him so he can lose weight. That wasn't my reasoning. I got it because he saw it on tv and thought it was really cool..so there. Anyways, he also got a Best Buy gift card from his mom, and his sister got him the whole first season of Spongebob. Just like his 3 year old nephew..Adam loves that show. He may be 23 now..but that doesn't mean a thing!

It's also my mother's birthday today..a pretty significant one. We have a bunch of family coming up for the weekend just for it even though she claims so she isn't having a birthday this year. I hope both of you have and had a fantastic birthday! Love you both!
