Christmas

Christmas flew by this year. Because of Adam's busy schedule we were only able to go up to Emmett for a few days. We left on Friday afternoon and got home Sunday night. It's a 5 hour drive so we didn't get a whole lot of time there. We're glad we went though! We had a great time. This was my first Christmas not with my family. I missed being with them, but I'm glad to be part of another great family to spend the holiday with.

I was pretty good about taking pictures while we were up there so here are a few of my favorites!

This is the first family picture we've gotten where Lydia is smiling. Leave it to silly grandpa to get that cheesy grin from her.

She enjoyed playing with the boxes more than her actual presents it seemed. She was also sleepy because she was up all night excited that Santa was going to come...which means mom and dad were sleepy too.

This is Lydia with her cousin Carly (and grandma). She is exactly a month younger than Lydia.

This is her other cousin Wyatt who is also a month younger than Lydia. They loved playing with each other!

Since they're so close in age we had to get a photo with all three of them...it took a few tries to get a good one. 

All 3 of them happy. We're lucky to have them all smiling!

We wished we could see all of them more often, but we're sure glad we were able to spend Christmas with them.
