Lydia is known for having some pretty wild bed head, but last week she woke up with basically a huge rats nest on the back of her head. It brushed out fine with some detangling spray, but it was then I decided she was in need of a haircut. Her ends were very thin and broken and it was time! I've cut her bangs and did a basic trim on her ends before, but she has never gone to get a real haircut. It took the poor girl a long time to get hair!
She was VERY excited to get her haircut. She had been pretending to give daddy a haircut that morning and put pretty flowers in his hair :). I decided to bring my big camera with me because this is definitely a milestone for her! The hairdresser probably thought I was one of those crazy mom's, but I'm glad I brought it!
It's so fitting for her personality and I think it's so cute (even though it makes her look older!).
We think it's made her even more sassy than she already was!
Another first last week was for Claire. She is about 4 1/2 months old now so we decided to let her try a little rice cereal for the first time. She wasn't too impressed, but most babies aren't at first. We will keep trying :).
Something that wasn't a first was this outfit. This would be #2 soon to be #3 for the day....
I wondered why I had so many onesie sets from when Lydia was this age and I quickly found out why!
Lydia was also REALLY excited for Easter to come. She absolutely loves holidays. They have been doing lots of fun things for them at preschool lately. They had an Easter egg hunt and have made a few crafts including this cute bunny mask.
